Robotics is not cheap, even though we are a volunteer organization. Over the last five years our total program costs have ranged from $40,000 to $100,000 per year, with variation stemming from fluctuation in technology costs, championship costs, and capital equipment investments.
The cost per team is summarized below.

Our program is supported by corporation, government, and foundation grants (approximately 55%) and donations from individuals and families, like you (approximately 45%). The donation you will be giving is a significant portion of our program.
The donation you will be giving goes through our funding entity, Cupertino Robotics, Inc. This is a 503(c) organization. Every dollar given to Cupertino Robotics Inc. funds the activities of Cupertino Robotics.
