2022 Winter Card Making

On December 9th, 2022, members of the Cupertino Robotics club along with members of Cupertino NHS came together in a collaborative environment to create and design holiday cards for a local senior center. 

Started last school year, this card making event is a continuation of two card making events held in the past year. Working with the club advisor, the Cupertino Robotics outreach team once again organized a card making so that every member of the club had the chance to contribute to the community. Club member, Avy, shared how, “it felt really good to make cards for the seniors and it felt like a nice way to give back to our community.” Instead of focusing only on the STEM genre in our society, card making allows the club to give back to our society in a way that has no specific relation to the focus of the club, STEM.

The event resulted in an astounding number of approximately 130 cards made and decorated with handwritten notes and personalized embellishments. It is safe to regard this event as a success!
